Creating a New Drive From the Web Interface

Once you have created a Binfer account there are two easy ways to create a drive – via the desktop application or from the Binfer Drive web interface. The below steps will walk you through how to create a drive from the web interface.

• Log in to drive.binfer.com and you will be taken to the screen shown below. Find the CREATE DRIVE button in the upper left-hand corner and click on it

• The ADD DRIVE popup will appear. Fill in the information for your drive, a detailed list of each field can be found below. Once you have finished click the CREATE DRIVE button to finish creating your drive

Drive Name: A name for your private drive Source Folder: The folder where all files will be stored locally Description: A brief, optional, description about what this drive will be used for Permissions: Check the different boxes for the permissions you want your drive members to have Password: Optionally, you can add a password to secure your drive even further File Size Upload Limit: The largest file size allowed to be uploaded to the drive in megabytes Files View Type: The preferred way to view files, this can be changed within the drive at any time
